Yeah, how's everyone doing in terms of getting organised? This has been the most rushed Christmas ever for me... And the brokest. I get paid on Christmas Eve and will have to finish up my shopping then! It's going to be hectic!

Well I just finished up my Christmas shopping. My dad is getting his first cellphone for Christmas!
Should be fun/annoying to teach him to use it. God my parents suck with technology...
Seeing it's Christmas Eve, I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas! I hope you guys have an enjoyable Kiwi Christmas in the sun with your families and friends. Hopefully you get some sweet presents too!
Oh and if I don't manage to get on Esato before 2009, Happy New Year guys. Here's to another year at Esato in '09!

Merry Christmas everybody!
Sorry I haven't been online much but between working and a lack of bandwidth, I've been unable to be otherwise. Due to the iPhone being excessively wasteful of data I tend to use up my 256 MB in 2 weeks but I decided to go back to Vodafone Mobile Broadband and signed up to another 24 month plan on a great deal which gives me a 7.2 Mbps Vodem stick as part of the package. No, I couldn't resist that...

So I got it home to try it out and my Laptop won't switch on.

It turns out that the RAM slot is faulty and it won't be fixed before the 12th Jan

so I'm back on the iPhone 'til then.
I have some other projects on the boil too ATM; I'm 'hotrodding' a road racing bicycle for my eldest son with a custom paint job and graphics at a local spraypainter, and improving my car with a few simple upgrades - I recently added central locking to it, and am trying to find a way to connect the iPhone music player to the car stereo. Can anyone suggest a cable with good sound quality? TIA

Merry Xmas peeps! Hope you had a wicked day. Maybe Santa brought you some SE goodies?

Nice one carkitter, those projects sound great! Unfortunately I have no idea about those things though, so I'm afraid I can't help sorry! It will be good to have you back visiting a bit more regularly when you get the laptop sorted mate.
@JiSM: No SE stuff for me. My family a) can't afford it, and b) don't really believe in giving that kind of gift.

I did give two people SE phones though!
What did everyone else receive? Anything exciting? It was mostly clothing and food for me but I'm not complaining. That's all I wanted.

Liquorice, CD's, and a Whitcoulls voucher - all things I asked for.

Looking forward to choosing a good book to read and perhaps another CD as well. After not buying any CD's for a couple of years and getting the odd single off Vodafone Live!, getting the iPhone and using iTunes has got me back into the music habit again.
