Wanqa
Eish i must agree,an interesting line up indeed, the G900 and X1 realy got me, like the name: XPERIA sounds so. . . . . whats the word. . . . .futuristic, although i do think it could have looked better.

@ Gucci,
Ya, it has to be 's best brace of new releases for quite some time.
I really haven't been impressed at all with most of their offerings last year (excluding the 2 UIQ3 biggies, although they haven't been mind-blowing leaps forward).
These new ones announced today look like a welcome breath of fresh air, not just rehashes, with only the Z770 having iffy specs, well compared to the others on offer anyway.

I think it's great that is no longer just limiting its smartphone range to UIQ3 too.

At least a few of these new offerings closes the gap to an extent, in SOME areas, on Nokia's flagship N-series' specs, and about time too.

Let's hope there's more announced on Wednesday...

@ Hobbster,
So The Pharaohs are African Cup of Nations champs again...

Oh well, the new launches today is pretty good news, at least.

@ da brixsta,
Try not to wind up too many ManUre fans tomorrow...

Yup, the G-series is probably the most boring-looking of the new phones (a flattened/steamrolled K750i or K610i look, LOL), but the specs and dimensions is making me give the G900 'the twice-over'...

Slim form, movable ('touch') auto-focus, 5mp, touchscreen... = Happy Wanqa.

@ gola & Gucci,

Not long to go now before the latest, highly anticipated Nokia launch...

Was nowhere near any communication device for the most part of the day but managed to digest what I could from the latest announcement.
Like most people on here when I looked at the rss feed off Gizmodo I almost fell off my chair in excitement.
Xperia X1 and the W980 are definitely, IMHO, the best of the lot. Finer details on all the new phones are a bit scant, like for instance the presence of graphics accelerators.
Hopefully the oligarchs amongst this collection of the proleteriat should be able to get these phones locally from about August/September!
