OK,I TAKE BACK THE LG AND SAMSUNG STATEMENTS.IVE JUST VISITED ANOTHER SYMBIAN SITE AND THERE ARE PICTURES OF A SAMSUNG SGH-G810 AND A LG KT610 (BOTH SUPRISINGLY RUNNING THE S60 PLATFORM.NOT BAD AT ALL.GOOD ONE.
AND THEN SAW SOME PICTURE OF A MOTOROLA Z12 AND I MUST SAY THE WHOLE DESIGN TEAM FOR MOTOROLA SHOULD BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH SOME FRESH BLOOD WITH NEW AND INNOVATIVE IDEAS,WHO NEVER LIVED THROUGH THE SUCCESS DAYS OF THE V3 RAZR.THEY GOT TO SERIOUSLY DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT OR IM AFRAID IF THERE WAS A VOTE TO SAY MOTOROLA STAY OR GO, I'LL BE SHOWING THEM THE DOOR.
ITS NICE TO SEE THIS MIX AND MATCH OF BRANDS AND PLATFORMS-SAMSUNG/LG RUNNING S60,SONY ERICSSON-WINDOWS MOBILE ECT EXCITING TIMES INDEED.

QUITE FUNNY.I'VE BEEN TO TWO SYMBIAN SITES NOW LOOKING FOR X1 INFORMATION AND ONLY FINDING STUFF ON THE G700/G900.THATS THE PROBLEM WITH X1 RUNNING WINDOWS MOBILE.NOW TO KEEP UP TO DATE WITH X1 NEWS YOU GOTTA FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO READ ABOUT IT OTHER THAN YOUR FREQUENTLY VISITED SYMBIAN SITES.

Really it's a shame that moto are coming out with nothing nice lately.i remember how excited i was when i got my e1000 it was great(had lots of "wow what phone is that"comments) and after that no innovation from them.plus ugly designs....at least

seem to be breaking out of that kinda downfall, that x1 looks wow i cant wait to xperia-nce it!bring it out sooner

and i will definitely go back to

the others launched like g and c series seem to give you too many compromises...good in only certain departments.

Toshiba, of all manufacturers, are putting a 1530mAh battery in their new Portege G810.

@ Hobbster,
That new Samsung with the qwerty keyboard looks keeewl indeed, although the inside screen looks a bit on the small side, compared to other phones with that layout.
However, it looks like it's got much smaller dimensions compared to any HTC or Communicator..

@da wanqsta: I've been posting a lot because I've taken leave from work. Will be back to reporting the news from next week.
@jmash: Six weeks is way too long to wait.
@HOBBS: I was referring to the Moto's updated Z12 slider which basically comes wi-fi in a crappy package.
@ALL: Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Off topic,
LOL, as ya'll know, the pace is a lot more laid-back in East London SA; even the police and traffic cops, in hot pursuit of a stolen vehicle today, was at very slow speeds... as the stolen vehicle being driven along a busy EL road, was... wait for it.....a tractor.

LOL...once had a conversation with a business reporter from the Herald and he had no shame in telling me that news was so slow down there they could be reporting on something as "breaking news" two days after it happened.
