OK, sorry bout this, but a newbie question:

I have a T610, I live in a flat on a very busy street and have a main bus stop right outside (always people there with nokia's etc with bluetooth on)
I have a dongle on my PC (class 1, 100m range), is there a way to bluejack from a PC?

what exactly do i send from my phone if i do it from that? (T610)
what bit of the card shows up on their screen and what exactly does it say?

It would have to be less than 10m away, and with walls in the way etc, i'd say you wouldn't get anywhere near 10m range. But if your flat is right next to it, then you create a contact, with the message as the name, then send it via bluetooth, your phone will then find their phone, and send it.

You could allways check what your doing with your t610 and PC, try Bjacking your PC to make sure it's working.

Anyway, if you get that sorted I'll just try and see where to go to send a contact from your PC...

Ok, if you have the latest drivers for your BT adapter and outlook then do the following.... Go into outlook, creat a contact, edit the name field to your message. Now go to your contacts screen and drag that contact onto your desktop (or wherever you want to keep them) then right-click on it and click send to ---> bluetooth ---> other devices

Then search for the device and send it. Good luck!

lol

I've succesfully BJ'd before but every time I try it now, (let's say the past like six times) I've had connection failed, which is quite annoying, considering I get a *PACKED* tube every morning full of nokia fools.

Anyone any ideas? i could be having a HELL of a lot more fun if it connected every time

Just remembered. Maybe I can try BlueJacking with my BT equipped Palm or even laptop. I wonder if it'll work.
