Its nearly always good light. From there you can experiment with AV or other settings. Also, if the darker portion of your picture is the same distance as the subject, try focusing on that first then moving to subject. etc etc
Indoors and shade is not so great. "ok" only to me.

GNandGS...not completely true....with a bit more skills (about light-direction, etc) you even get iso-200 absolute great

I took this picture onlt for check the capabilities of C902 without being directly iluminated by Sun and in the shadow of the buildings... I was surprised! Don't you think so?
This Little and Sleek phone knows how to take a good picture, even with "poor" light

Some pictures using my C902 . The same pictures taken by other devices to compare (not looking for a "fair" comparison, it is just to compare). All pictures taken with auto settings and up to the maximum resolution supported for the device except for Kodak Z712 Digicam (limited to 5 mp to be "closer" to the the C902 specs.). No pc editing was made to the pictures.
Kodak Z712 (5 mp)
C902
W890 (3.2 mp)
Motorola Rokr E2 (1,3 mp)
Verizon Blitz TXT 8010 (1,3 mp)
More C902 shots :

c902 just better than my old k810 in daylight condition only, and it sucks when taking a lowlight and indoor too.
