Someone in that xda thread from poland posted about a yellow tint on the screen :/ If true this would be unfortunate, the one I saw in gdansk was ok, but I will go see the one here at the sony store and compare it to the Z and ZU and see what it looks like. Spending so much cash and receiving a mediocre screen is not something I would have expected from Sony.

It is going to get slaughtered in reviews because of that viewing angle what were Sony thinking

This just confirms my post just before about the retail version I briefly used last week being awesome I'm in the UK and I believe the one XDA was from Aisa if I'm correct. So it looks like Sony are not using different screens for different regions.

You don't speak the truth. There is also NOTHING in that thread that says Z1 uses a TN panel. Just pure speculation on all counts..

I don't know why I waste time responding to people who can't tell the difference between speculation and facts.. :/

Everyone complains about viewing angles. It's a personal preference, but in the mobile industry, it's probably the most talked about attribute of a screen.

@mzr7 - wow.. thanks for sharing. those photos are great for 20mp! the 20mp photos weren't looking so good, but it seems they did something to it before launch.
