The build quality of XZ1 with 78-80% STB ration. OMG, The phone will look phenomenal. I wouldn't care even if its a lcd display. Just hope they improve their lens quality and image processing as IMX 400 is an excellent sensor.

75% screen body to ratio kinda first of it kind in 2013 alongside with water resistant device.
unfortunately, they just skipped it over and take fully leap onto water resistant bandwagon.

If XZ1 has 79% screen to body ratio, in the same body with same left & right bezels, then the screen will be 18.5:9.. and looks like this.
To the left: equal top and bottom bezels, no space for Sony logo.
To the Right: larger top bezels to make some space for Sony logo, but still doesn't look good.
I would take the left one blindly.. just not in blue

LG G4 has a 5.5" screen. You can say it has same height of Z3+. Maybe 1 or 2mm more.
S7 Edge has 15.1cm, screen/body is about 76%.
Maybe they bring a bigger screen instead, like 5.7.
Note 5 is not that big for example.

They can make the ratio closer to 16:9 by slimming the left and right bezels, but it won't be noticeable coz the top and bottom bezels is the main issue now. maybe they can go from 18.5:9 to 18:9

Honestly, really wish they would keep a 16:9 ratio and no round corners(!). After using my S8+, really dislike the round corners and the tall aspect ratio. They already have the ability of removing the side bezels with the XA series. They just have to work on the top and bottom bezls. Do hope the Premium replacement would come with a bigger display, wouldn't mind a 6 inch. This rumor is really making me consider cancelling my Pixel 2 XL order, but I'm almost at the breaking point of tolerating my S8+.
