@shiato_storm & Numb

Thanks for the answers.

Well, 200 is alot better than whatever there was on the T610 so I think I'll buy the k750i anyway.

I have another question though.
Is it possible to copy the text-messages on the phone onto a computer with the usb-cable?
I really want to avoid having to go through that sms-cleanup-process, heheh

Sure, Floats Mobile Agent for S//E phones, a freewareprogram that lets you do all kinds of great things. Archive txt messages from your phone to your pc, write txtmessages on your pc and send them through the phone + lots of other nice features.

Thank you numb, that's really great news!

Can't wait to get my k750i next week.

2) I read that there is a limit to mms size that is restricted by the phone... But i went to menu>messages>Settings>picture message>Creation mode and i set it to "Unlimited".... and after that i sent a 1200Kb mms without a problem... I mean was it supposed to be so easy to change that? and what are the other option in creation mode for i.e. "Alert"?? Mine was set on "limited" earlier...

Cheers.

Yes, it is so easy.
Some who post about 100kbs limitation on the phone, just dont know about this.

Most or many networks has a the 100kbs limitation on mms, its not the phone, the setting lets you select limited which will the only send up to 100kbs mms, or warning which will then give you a warning that it will send it but it may not be delivered, and unlimited just lets you send it with no warning.

Hey guys,

sorry I took so long to reply, but I am back from Vacation.

So, I found out that the K750i I got is uploaded with Chinese firmware. I have two friends, one who ordered another K750i and one who ordered a Z800i - both from source and they too have Chinese firmware.

So why does this matter ? Well the chinese/hong kong firmware only allows one key phonebook searching, on both the K750i and the Z800i.

What I want to know is, is there any way to flash these phones to the european firmware ? And if yes, then how ?

thanks,

DC

Is this true? Are you sure its all phones with the chinese/hong kong firmware that does this? If it is, that really sucks. Is there anything else that happens with that firmware? I was gonna get one from China

I have a question.. i have seen it in this thread but it seems that everyone is ignoring it. Is/was the empty space on the screen just a software issue (first pics of K750 where mobiles had K700`s software or something like that) or that empty space on the screen realy exists? i am realy sorry if it was already answered but i can`t find it.

Is the price €350 a good price for an unlocked K750i?

Not toally k750 hardware specific, but I looked through the threads and non are really specific enough for me question anyway.

Would anybody happen to have any links or sources for space shooter java games?

I'm kinda hungry for some of the ikaruga/alphawing type games you can find in the arcades. The ones where it's 2d and you're constantly scrolling forwarrd and strafing in combat.

I've found a handful but was wondering if anybody found anymore?
