@dr_thug: Tata, great Indian company unfortunately I can't see myself plucking up the courage to buy one of their cars. Whenever I see the Indica on the road I just shake my head. It looks like a death trap and cheap. The Scorpio looks ok, I've seen a lot of them on the road but I doubt anyone bought them for the resale value.

@JC08: Maybe its just a clash of cultures but most people, including myself, didn't know what JoJo was on about. You first had to decipher his weird sentences(mixed Caps) and then he'd go postal on the smilies. Most of the time I'd see his posts I'd just skip past.

It had little to do with any culture-related misunderstandings IMHO. There are many other esato users from Jojo's homeland who post in a more 'regular', universal fashion.
Jojo's style, ramblings and mannerisms could, posssibly, best be described as 'unique'.

That link to the 'Where's Jojo' thread gola discovered was no surprise. Without trying to sound like some third-rate/poor man's Nostradamus, all 3 things I predicted would happen (which were so obvious to predict anyway), in that Afrikaans post of mine, came to fruition:
1. a 'Where's Jojo' thread started.
2. him being scorned at length in that particular thread by the usual crowd
3. the thread getting locked just as gola makes a post that goes against the grain of the usual anti-jojo lobby.

Jojo being quite 'different' or notorious for his wacky posting is one thing. Jojo getting into a bit of kak and scorn over the years as he sought the attention of fairer sex posters etc another, and so on.

Now my retort here sounds nothing short of rampant defensiveness.
And nope, it couldn't be based on something as shallow as a knee-jerk reaction in me missing the regular late night bike n' pic talk.
As I made mention in that post as well, he 'towed the line' in our thread, even if it was in his own inimitable way.
As I also made mention before, his contributions to this thread were very much appreciated by me, even if it was somewhat off the beaten track on most occasions.

A certain piece of Holy Writ comes to mind for those happy to see him go down/ leave esato; which contain the words 'log', 'eye' and 'splinter'...

@ Janbobejan,
Eish, I hope no dogs lifted a leg on your car, or I'll have the SPCA after you, LOL.

@ JC
I agree with Brix. For me it was hard to understand Jojo at 1st but after we chatted via PM a few times twas a lot easier to get what he said and why he was like that. He a realy oak i must say its a shame people just didn't get him.
I can see you realy aint impressed about how they were to him, neither was i but go to remember its a Web forum with people from diff parts of the globe so they may see things in a totaly different way to what we see.

Check it out, peeps.

Taken in broad daylight, on an absolutely clear Winter's day, and through a telescope's aperture.

The Moon was particularly visible, so my mate Dale took out his telescope, the same one I used to take the other Moon pic with the N73 last year during the lunar Eclipse.
It must've taken ten-odd attempts with the P1i in macro mode to get this shot, also by dumbing down the light setting so that the reflecting glare didn't cause just a glowing white ball with no detail.

Not too shabby:
