I think it looks great! That's a huuuuge improvement on the cheap and nasty looking G705! And the plastic bottom is no different to what they normally do. Think P1. Think W890. Think very bottom of the W880. Think the back of the C902. I think it looks nice and I'd rather have plastic where I'm going to be holding it than cold metal.

This phone looked exquisite when the top part only was shown. Now, something about that d-pad completely ruins for me.

if it is full metal, everyone will start complaining this phone have poor reception or a lot of noise during call.
there's a lot of work still need to do to really achieve...full metal phone.
i also hope it can happen but for now we are stuck with such approach due to the nature of radio wave etc.....
