Depends where you live

You can call yellow pages in your country or whatever you call it and ask for Sony Ericsson Service Center. Good luck with your phone.

R38 initial look on orange uk
On the plus side.
The camera is faster.
The media player is faster.
Games are a little quicker to load.
There’s a transition effect in the camera album so that when you switch between pictures it zooms out then zooms back in. Looks nice.
There is not a date and time the photo was taken at the top of the photos.
The touch sensitive button text doesn’t disappear as randomly as in R37
On the negative side.
The orange home screen no longer works (memory error)
It took a while to recognise my media for some reason
The large clock (that was really nice I thought) is gone and there’s just the time and date in the bottom corner now in small font.
Is anyone else on orange and has the same issues?

@ vbajma, as I said, do not get me wrong. Maybe it was a bad choice of words. Written word is different than said. No intention to start "post war" either. I admit, both first and N95 8Gb have a bad LED flash. And color balance in auto I do not like. Thou N95 8Gb has a better build quality. One of the things that annoyed me with the first N95 is chassis squeaking.
I'm just getting nervous waiting for the freaking FW update. And from the feedback here also the new one isn't promising.

38 is not the big update we were waiting for,it's only a FW SE made after the many requests from orange and other network provider, the 20th Jan is the day the interesting FW will come out!
I don't have any bug right now but I hope picture and video quality recording will get a great step forward

well i am impressed with the speed improvement of 38 over 37. seems strange that theyve disabled some features though

WELL...
it all appears to be well and good but if i flash it and dont reboot then it appears to have an issue. once thats done its fine. There is a significant improvement in the mediaplayer speed which is nice. Basically the bit where it shows names etc. the only problems are it will not show the orange home screen (i never used it but its a bit worrying as it gives the error "the application uses too much memory") and the fact that the large clocks gone.
I woud reccomend it however as the improvements far outweigh the downsides
