If i go into communications > Bluetooth > New device > add device
How come when it finds something it wants a password?
What is this password? Do i set it or is it set on the device i am trying to connect with?

OK, with my 100m dongle on my PC i puck up new people every few minutes, I have found something called "OBEX Object push on xxxxxx" where xxxxx is the other Bluetooth devices name, if I right click on this I have the option of "send business card" (have set my business card to be a message), if I do this, it always asks me for a PIN, is there a way to do it without needing a PIN like you can do with phones? I have turned off secure connections etc.
I am using Win XP
any help would be appreciated

@ Tesla: you are trying to pair with somebody - don't do that (unless you really like them) Just do a 'discover' other bluetooth devices - if you find any u can then right-click on a pre-existing 'contact' record (v-card format) and 'send to bluetooth device' will come up.

i finally did it!
yesterday i was at EB, a computer game store in Australia (it is also in the UK). they had a display set up with a Nokei NGage. it had demo version firmware, so the only thing that could be done was play tomb raider, or look at the bluetooth menu.
so i went in and activated bluetooth, then i went outside and sent it a business card with some fake numbers and the name "Nokia sucks donkey balls" from my t68. then i watched the people inside see the screen saying "you have received 1 new message" then they checked it, and got the weirdest look of confusion on their face.
someone complained to the people that worked at the shop, so they went over to look at it, and i sent it again. it was so funny watching them being so confused and wondering where the message was coming from since it had no sim card. one of them got on the store phone and called someone straight after. i think he was calling nokia to report or ask about a problem with the phone's software.
ahahahahahahhaahaa
i finally did some bluejacking and it was so much fun!
if you see one of these demo NGages... try it
they aren't hard to miss, its a huge stand with the phone on it.
