I am just guessing about the "L" since zomg hinted at it, I do not have any info on it sadly.

I personally don't believe 'Honamini' exists. If it does it'll be lower specced anyway, probably dualcore.
Is this based upon actual info (or lack thereof) from your own sources, or just a gut feeling?
Actual info. There are other phones coming either with Honami or in the weeks after the announcement but there will not be a smaller Snapdragon 800 model.
Yep, that's right. It's just like when SE released the mini/Pro variants of the Xperia X10. Their internal specs were most definitely not the same as the X10 - they were vastly cut down in comparison.

completely off-topic but may relevant in some sort
new report says Samsung has already in developing their own sensor
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsu[....]iere_on_note_iii-news-6645.php
it's pretty much confirm that our new Sony sensor won't make it way to competitor device, as huiyi & ramu posted few months ago.

Does the Honami have OIS?
Or more poignantly, does it have a physical image stabilisation system, rather than software. I don't really care if its lens-shift, or sensor-shift or both. Some kind of physical image stabilisation would be key in putting it above other Smartphone camera systems. A bigger sensor is only a third of the way there.
