First SE would have to join the OHA - which they're apparently about to do according to rumors...would be great if somebody in the know could confirm or refute that.
If that is ture, SE needs to join Open handset alliance to announce their android phone (if there is one).

BTW, why would they present such demo without any plan to release it?
