They sounded great but then I realized I was really listening to the speakers rather than the amp (if you know what I mean) but you could tell that the bass was tight and under control. Mids & highs were sweet.
What really got me was the build quality (very heavy torroidals), the ALPs potentiometer, the detacheable power cord and the passive pre-out which means I could upgrade to a power amp in the future. It's also high-current so it doesn't have a hard time driving less sensitive loads.
These, plus the fact that I've always been very partial to esoteric brands. Not to mention the tawad..

@nephilim, mozilla, i'm going to hyperaudio lunch time to check the other FaSe, if i don't like it i'll get the Classé mamaya when listening opens... hyperaudio has missions and i will drive 'em using the FaSe which should end my myths about missions being not involving and laid back.

You are redirected to cnn because I don't have a index file in that directory. You are not supposed to access that directory directly. I have done this because many idiots run "Download complete site" on Esato to get hold of the content. Some also make their own script to do the same. These script are often badly written, and start to crawl the forum as well as the logos and the /ss directory. The forum consist of a couple of million pages if you follow every link on every page. Instead of serving a "Error 403. Forbidden. No index file in this directory" (and thus using more costly bandwith to serve this error page) I have chosen to redirect them to cnn.
