Does any one know abt the p990 generic update 2 file size?
i've been downloading for 2 hrs and its just 20% of the download?
and i guess p910 was much simpler as we cud save the file to the disk before making an update..
What do u guys have to say?

If its really going to be week 5 then that is just plain silly. Are we mugs? Waiting for over a year for a phone to come out, only for it to be bug riddened. Then being told to wait till week 48 for the 'new and improved' software, then being told to wait until early Jan, and now for Feb...surely that cant be right...

No, I wouldn't say it is a rumour any more. First of all some people got new fw ( although not officially released) and gave their impression on it. And early January was actually given by SE staff in a letter to one of the forum members.
But what is also true is that SE failed when it comes to communication with their costumers. Very unprofessional I would say.
