yeah, in the leaks where honami's screen is on it looks like the z screen - now, you will say "it's because of the blurred photo shoot" - no, it's not a good excuse, different quality of screen needs to be noticeable even in blurred photo. i hope it's cause of they didn't implement trilluminos in those prototypes or whatever. trilluminos is (still) not the best in terms of blacks and viewing angles, but it's a good progression over the z and overall it looks like a better screen then s4 and htc one, imo anyway, you can see that when "tech radar" compared z ultra with them. better colors, more lively.

We should wait... I'm confident it will have a screen comparable with the ZU in quality (also remember it will have more DPI)... Do you remember the leaked (the few ones) pics of Togari/ZU... the screen didn't look that good... There was a pic where the whites seemed gray!!!

Have to agree with Ambroos. I know all the insiders say Honami Mini will be a high end flagship. But i have my doubts about a 4 inch phone being able to handle the heat from Snapdragon 800 without serious throttling
Believe it or not, the OEMs are not making big phones just because the market wants it, but because bigger phones = more TDP for these chips

actually the real reason for skipping the Z1 that I already bought ZL so 2014 will be the one..... but my Dad loves smartphones with excellent designs and big vivid display .. so I might suggest it to my dad and get to try it also xD

who said CES 2014 z1 successor flagship will be larger then the z1? someone wrote here that it will have 5.2 inch screen (if that is true), but it doesn't necessarily mean larger phone. look at the lg g2, it's a 5.2 inch phone and it's actually smaller then the z which itself is smaller the the z1. i predict the CES one will maintain the same size of the z1 with the larger screen, that means its bezel will look like z bezel. read my lips! (or not).
i'm with the people who think sony should announce a flagships every year, like z line and mini version of it every CES, z phablet line every IFA, etc.
