Would Sony skip an Android 4.3 update for the Honami, post release, going straight for an Android 5.0 one? Is this likely?

Yes

Motivate that yes.. how would it be possible ? you mean keep Honami on 4.2.2 atleast a year and then update to 5.0?
So many different, conflicting answers... The thing is that Sony/SE have been very slow with updates in the past and with the case of the X10, they skipped an update to Android 2.2, choosing instead to go straight to 2.3. Do you think they would take the same approach as before, in that case, for the Honami; going straight for an update, after the Honami's release, to Android 5.0?

Then, I think maybe.

Edit: Sorry if this was not clear, I meant maybe not.

I hope this helps.

So they'll either release the Honami with 4.3, or update to it to that very soon after its release?

Maybe.

I guess what I am trying to say is, if this forum members do not have the answer, you don't need to post the question several times.

You may be more lucky by posting the question on other sites with a different public. I can suggest the comment sectio of Phone arena to begin with.

I hope this helps

Image Stabilizer on = Auto ISO and HDR off.
[...]
The moment you change ISO or on HDR, image stabilizer will be off.

That guy called Sephirot wrote that on hardwarezone.com.sg

So would that mean optical or digital image stabilization or is it just because of his prototype version?
Unknown where are you

Oh! Sounds like software stabilisation no?

But I hope with f2 lens and up to 800 iso you can be fast enough in many situations not to need an extra or two stops from stabiliser?

Don't bet on skipping 4.3 and going straight to 5.0. Update schedules have been very consistent and predictable from Sony. X10 was am exception because it was the first foray into new territory.

Honami will get 4.3 just like all the omnibalance Xperias and some of last year's will.

I'm sorry to tell you but I think that's right, it is almost certain that Honami won't have mechanical stabilization, otherwise the infos regarding its presence would've been leaked long time ago
