When I ordered from O2 there was a note in the fine print that the WH-1000XM3 were limited to 1750 units.

I think everyone will agree front cam of 1 and 1 ii are bad.
Inferior to phones like X, C5, XA Ultra and XZ.
There are phones with shorter bezels but better 1/3" or 1/2.8" , while sony put 1/4" (it is half size of 1/3").

Well, the front cam on the 1ii may not be the best one out there, but judging from samples around the web it seems to be ok. It definitely is better than the one on past models that you've mentioned.

Also, it can be more powerful than 1 ii, since it is lower tier phone.
This article says 5 ii gets mmWave but loses jack.

Rumored 5.4" compact mock up size comparison. Gave it the same size bezels as 1ii on the sides and used a ratio of 1:2.32 for overall body which is pretty much every Sony 21:9 phone's ratio.

Would've been nice still. Now their offering the WH-H910N, which unlike the WF-1000XM3's does support Hi-Res Audio/Wireless (LDAC) but still not 360 audio.
