With Gerban posting, this topic will reach a new level. He's one of the best K850i photographer I have seen.

Herre are some of mine with the settings if it can help :

Macro mode, No flash, Under exposure of -2 EV, Best Pic mode (which is IMO far more usefull than the stabilizer, you have 9 chances to get at least one sharp picture when the exposure time is long) :

Night shots taken in Best Pic mode without flash:

The following pictures with a frame are post processed (adjustement of white balance, saturation, contrast, sharpness) :

TIPS :
Tired of getting harsh and washed out picture with the flash like this :

Sometimes the mode twillight portrait will help to get a more natural looking result (the exposure will go down to 1/8 in order to capture more ambiant light, try to stay very stable when taking the picture) :

Macro mode with flash :

ANOTHER TIPS :
For all flash pictures, if your subject is up to 1.5m far, it is better to switch to ISO 100 (or enable the macro mode which will have the same effect).

2 advantages :
- Better color rendering
- Less risk to overexpose the subject if it is very close
