Thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Thought there must be something wrong with just my phone.

@Muhammad-Oli

When I got the ICS update for my Neo V, it was only when the SI number from the BACK of my phone appeared on the Sony list. The SI numbers in the service menu do not match, and had nothing to do with the update...

Guys, this will be a bit of a noob question, but how do I turn off the Live Wallpaper of this device? I have the Xperia P, so the way to do it should be similar...

Thanks!

Can you not choose a picture from your gallery and set that as Wallpaper?

Yap, thanks!

I just thought that perhaps there was a way to have the Sony Wallpaper without the live animation. But that works for me as well!

Thanks

Thanks for confirming that. Unfortunately though, my SI number from the back of the phone IS in the list, but I still can't update. I'm not the only one though so hopefully Sony fix their mistake soon.

My SI number (1257-6087) is not in the list, but I could do the update via SUS to 4.0.4 this morning.

Yep mine was made available today. I updated earlier.

I have to say, this isn't much different to Gingerbread... It looks a bit cleaner and nicer but overall it's pretty samey. Even the 'new' Walkman app is pretty much the old music app with a couple of small changes.

Cool that I now have ICS, but this wasn't worth the daily checking for updates.

My SI number is in there but I plugged my phone into my laptop and it says I have the latest software still. How do these work? Does it mean sometime today I will get the update or what?

More info from Sony on this matter from their own forum.

Hi,

Unfortunately it seems that some users have problems to update their phones to ICS even if their SI number is in the list. We have located some issues and we're working on fixing them as soon as possible.

So if your SI number is listed for the ICS update but you still get the message saying that your phone is up-to-date stay calm we're working on it. We will come back with more info soon.
