LumberjackX,
I think what AIDA mean by "second camera" is the second camera of main camera, not front one. but i might be wrong

I just used XZ1c selfie as an example. One cam that does 2 different kind of photos.
What I could understand is that the second cam would use 12MP for colorful pics.
Then only 3MP if you want BW pics.
Maybe it is something different.

Biggest bullshit leak ever. At least try to be convincing.
So we have dual camera setup with THREE SENSOR on the back - one imx 400, one 12 mp (rgb) and one 3 mp(mon).
It would make sense if they dual setup is 12+3 but no it's three sensor with dual camera setup. LOLOLOL >.

@hboy857
Read again, he's say two cameras, the main one is the IMX400 (19MP, Wideangle)
The second camera uses a hybrid sensor, my guess if it's true then it's a simple 12MP RGB sensor, but within it there's other B/W pixels distributed in the sensor in total for 3MP you can say that with every R + G + B pixels there, there's a one B&W pixels also.. meaning it's like a 16MP RGBW sensor, I don't know why they call it hybrid in the first place, maybe you can access either the RGB or W pixels independently.

I've never had a phone with dual camera setup so I would appreciate some clarifications. Are both cameras used simultaneously when taking a single photo (with each camera adding to the quality of the picture) or the cameras are used separately and you choose which camera to use each time you take a photo?
