i did, but in the past 3 days it has: frozen 19 times, decided all my programs had just been installed and displayed them all highlighted in start, my usb ports have got even worse (even my bt adapter aint workin fully) and my sound card doesnt work! Im seriously considering flogging it and getting a laptop!

hmmmm.. why dont u take all the cards etc out and reinstall windows and see how it goes? then add ur soundcard etc back in one by one.. must be somthing simple m8.. probs just a conflict somewhere.. try 2000pro rather than xp incase its a driver issue
