Generic World 1 has a whole load of languages-what did you need?
You're better off with GW1 although GW2 also has EN UK.

In system information is said that the phone is 1203-6566 R9N002 version - is that the latest, and if not which is it?

@dnalevy.Thanks for that. It's English i was looking for.Every Generic World 1 firmware i've looked at doesn't mention English in its supported languages.Used to have a P1 and W960 which i flashed to World 1 and they had English but just wanted to make sure as the G900 hasn't officially been released in the UK.Using an Eclipse Black T650 (originally ran APAC firmware but flashed it to generic UK) atm and although its a great phone I need a better calender app which UIQ phones had just right for me.

Yeh both GW1 and GW2 have EN UK but they dont bother metioning it. When you buy the phone dont bother looking specifically for the right firmware - better to make sure its from the retailer you want with warranty unlocked etc and change the firmware version afterwards-very easy.

Cheers.I'm going to buy a red G900 from the Ebay seller called e-cell for £219 delivered.Quite a few people have used them and i've not heard anything bad.Others like Play.com,Mphone etc are around £20-£50 more expensive. Will just use Davinci to reflash it to GW1 firmware and get a screen protector from Expertshield.I've got an 8gb M2 in my T650.Should be fine to use in the G900 shouldnt it ? Was thinking of actually getting a 16gb.How is the phone compared to the P1 & W960 & is A2DP good with it ?

The G900 is a great phone, used one myself for a little while, but went back to W960. There was only one reason: the camera of the G900 takes junky pictures, and this is important to me.
G900 was faster though... Also the W960 feels a little more massive to me not to mention the bigger screen, but i guess i could have live without those .

I also bought mine from Ecell. Found them to be very good.
It came with generic singapore firmware. The CDA version will tell you the firmware version.
Its really easy to change the firmware yourself with XS++ and SE update service.
You just have to make a small change to the gdfs file with a hex editor. I can do that bit for you if you want.
You should check about the memory card. The phone may fit and access the card but if its larger than rated size the phone can take you may find the phone cant cope with it.
