Also by Sony.. I meant Sony mobile only.. Though I like other Sony goods, it is the mobile division I am most interested in..
SD636 would have been acceptable too.. But 630?they used the same chipset last year too.. What are the upgrades then? At asking price of 400 bucks, they are practically cheating the consumers, something I am strictly against.. Favourite company or not.. Cheating is bad.. They are simply not trying enough.. They must be competitive.. I don't want to see my fav company land in dust..
They are using plastic body at 400 bucks.. Come on! Even Samsung has learnt something.. Smh! This is not good at all..

Think it's pretty much a given but Sony's main focus is audio and visual in their mobile range this year so expect all but the L series to have HDR displays which correct me if I'm wrong maybe the first for mid range devices.

HMD Nokia X7 (7.1) has HDR.
They copied the SDR to HDR trick of xz2.
PA was so glad to say X7 has this option, something they "forgot" to mention for xz2.
1/2.3" = 7.87mm
1/3.06" = 5.81mm
No software here cam perform this miracle. Even LG realized they made mistake by using it for years.
C, T2, M4 ( the 16Gb version) , M5, C5, X , XA2, XA2+ and XA2U were all great phones ...
Except Apple, Google and OnePlus all other brands have very huge part of their sales coming from midranges.
Mainly oppo, vivo, xiaomi and samsung.

About the colors...
Between 2013-2015 the most used were black, white and purple.
As much as I like copper, I would not call it classic.
Besides M2, E3, Z3 and Z4 I dont remember other devices.
I hope it is not coral.
Years ago I almost bought E1. So cute phone.
Front and side are exactly like Z1.
I wanted the white.

Of course... Only MWC where Sony surprised was with Z2, all other were shit shows, always disappointment at the end. I have no doubt that this one will be the same. Few gimmicky "buzzwords" for the new flagship which no one will care for, and overpriced for sure.

I'm not even surprised when they launched Z2 at MWC 2014. Mediocrity have always been their speciality each year.
They've been very disappointing and I've experienced four stages since 5 years ago. 2014-2015: it's okay, maybe next year they'll bring something great, 2016-2017: what are they doing? They're going to do better next year, for sure, 2018: *defending sony almost all the time, like a blinded fanboy*, 2019: completely fed up.
Digitaltrends once interviewed Sony's Don Mesa at CES last month, and he said:
“We’ve been undergoing a lot of change,”
"Every component of our business has been touched."
“We are going to be announcing products at MWC,”
“What we present there will be a first step showing the direction we are going.”
And that's what you called 'a lot of change'?
They've changed the head of development team (he comes from Sony's camera division) so this year, their cameras might get better. But that's still not enough, look at those chinese phones out there!
