Father's Day and Mother's Day pinagsabay ni Erap on the 2nd Sunday of December and the proclamation still exists to this very day... kaya lang ousted na siya kaya batas niya di na napapansin.
Yan ang problema sa Pilipinas... may batas na, hindi pa susundin.
We have had our dates all fixed up for Mother's Day since the time of Quezon but we still prefer to celebrate what the Americans celebrate.
Did you know that we used to celebrate Father's Day on May 1? (Feast of St. Joseph)
