i would hardly consider the number good.....it starts with 69...followed by 97 and ends with 44.....all not good when translated into cantonese.....but it's real easy to remember tho...
anyways, signal strength problems are faced by many cellphone users, irregardless if they're maxis, celcom, digi etc....i dun think u haf that problem using the digi line elsewhere...just unfortunate that it's crappy near your house.....best advise is to get another line then.....

@macdid,
That's why you have a few telco in Malaysia providing services to Malaysians. It all depends on are and reception. Too bad your area ain't have good reception. Otherwise, you'll understand what Veon18, Penang and myself meant. Maxis is good but as shithappens mentioned, it is hell darn expensive unless your company pay for it or you don't mind paying for it.

Hi there fellow Malaysians! I'm really suprised of the topics going on here! Did I read wrongly that Malaysia's service providers had finally to roll out MMS? Currently I'm residing in Johor Bahru, just moved back from Singapore and enjoying the slow jump of Malaysian Technology to the advancement to the IT bandwagon benefit. DIGI's cool! There's no GPRS for pre-paid sim holders in Singapore! Only meant for post-paid subscriber! Now I've a SingTel subscription when I'm working in Singapore, and after work, voila! I'm still in not out of touch from GPRS, thanks to DIGI pre-paid GPRS! Though I hate the resetting after the cerdit deductions. Sucks! Do updates me on the MMS in Malaysia. I've been using this MMS a lot in Singapore, do really wants to know how Malaysia's doing in this field.

Just got back from ES amcrop mall. Upgraded my T65 from R1B to R6A006. Haven't got time to check it out yet.
All the staff there are friendly and Jefry got really shy when I mentioned about his picture in esato member's webpage. Even Mr Chong who looked very busy can spend time explaining things when asked. Hey, good customer service for SE owners. That is double impact really--good service provider(digi) & good service from the the phone service centre(ES).
Cheers.

@bryan,
I've discovered that there is a thrid party site that enable us to channel MMS via Malaysia telco wap gateway. It is
www.nowmms.com.
If you are DiGi user, then it is much more easier compared with all the rest. Just sign in and no charges except for your GPRS charges. There is an auto-configurator at the site. Select DiGi and install it via SMS. Do a test by clicking on the site feature "MMS Test". You should be able to send and receive then. Otherwise, just PM me. Of course, nothing really comes free. It will send you some advertisement via SMS and MMS sometimes... that 's it! If you don't mind of those ads.
You are allowed to send 50 MMS (max) a day from this site. If you need to back up your MMS, do it at
www.MMSstorage.com.
Malaysia's telco ain't have MMS yet to be rolled out... not so soon.

one more thing...using nowmms to send MMS could be FOC.
Since no telco have a system to charge MMS yet. Only when you receive MMS, then you will be charged. Tht's reverse of the original system. Hmm if nowMMS allow us to forward all MMS we received to our local telco account then it will mean....both sending and receiving are FOC!!!
Once started MMS, you will get addicted for the first few days and your GPRS usage will sky rocket.
