My Korean friend is considering the P1i.His question to me - 'is the phone slow?' P1i users in this thread.Give me an answer.and truthfully.I recommended the phone for his upgrade and dont want to be the bad guy.I've never played on a P1i.

ye,checked it out this past weekend at mtn,but they didn't have a dummy or demo
haven't seen any at vodacom,although their vodaworld magazine says it's available

well im depressed. read a vodacom upgrade book yesterday. nokia n81 on top up 135 is R2800. on top up 275 is R2200. I think. lol. and on top up 315 it is free. i cnt afford a top up 315. but neither can i afford 2 spend basically 3 grand on a phone. does any1 knw if mtn or virgin mobile hve better offers with the n81 on contracts similar to the top up 135 or even 275. thanks

back to JC,well the final decision isn't in my hands.saving for roughly four months and buying it cash is possible,but then again don't think ma parents would allow me to blow it on a 'puny little phone'...makes sense.but it's still the w960i or no phone at all for now...

Best i can see from MTN is a My Call100, R159pm and R299 pay in.

I might get a W960 as well, was going over my upgrade options and found that i have to pay R1799 extra for a N82, no way im paying that after already buying a N81 full price, hopefully Voda get W960 in April and don't heavily brand it I PRAY THEY DON'T!

asked a vodacom guy why they get their phones a long time after mtn has got theirs and he said it's because they have to brand it and they do a 'more extense' test on their phones.what a load of bull.

Lol,yep, well ive kept an eye on the W960, although it's Touchscreen il have to get used to it, its time i own a UIQ3 device
My free upgrade Smartphone options are:
Nokia N76, E51, E61i, N81, SE P1, W960 im sure, HTC TyTN (NOT THE TyTN-II), I-mate JAQ3, Moto Q9h WM6 phone, Moto Z8 ,and all the Blackberry phones, im not interested in any of those phones except the P1 and W960, if they had given me a TyTN-II as Free i'd take it but i have to pay R2499 extra for that.
