What? you got the phone for free on a 18 month contract at £35 pm on anytime 500? I got the same package but had to pay £100 for the phone. Grrrrr!

Yes mate I did. Was quoted £100 in store but he said he'd knock it off. Sound bloke who helped me. I've had to take out a new contract though so not used my upgrade on my old number. Going to turn that into a PAYG for my P910i

After sorting my initial plan which was wrong I went for £30 month tariff 18 month contract with all 3 inluded extras converted to 1000 text so I can use as 51Mb DATA usage instead of texts. Phone cost me £50.

Ok thought i'd help out a little firstly you cannot put your tariff down on a new connection for 9 months on any length contract unless you have a business account and then its 3 months. Next vodafone live! including mobile tv does not work with the p990 and m600 i dont think.Lastly only 1000 texts can bed used as data. No lower text packs can! Hope this helps

Edit: Ok Vodafone Live! does work on the P990, obviously only through Vodafone Wap and not WIFI etc though. Will check about mobile tv tomorrow while at work

I was advised that ONLY THE 1000 SMS PACK was for inclusive data? I'm sure I've looked at my account and (despite having extras used to up my SMS allowance to 1000), I've been charged for data. Check your billing as well.

Also, the 1000 SMS extras pack gives you 55mb usage, not 51mb.

I should be on 500 mins with 250 SMS (using 1 extra for STC and 2 to boost 250SMS to 1000SMS.

Now, providing VF CS set it all up correctly, if you look at my bill, you'll see that my SMS usage is FREE, but the data is charged for.

I've just seen the previous post by Sainty supporting this as well.

vodafone's version of the P990 is un-branded but later stocks will have Vodafone branding.
