> Which one is better, N95 or K850?

You make a great point, however the problem is that Plankton and Successor have been the main ones proclaiming the accolades about a phone that technically does not exist until it is avail for sale. They are the ones making unfounded claims and then stating them as facts. These threads are fine as long as people state the facts. Second, you will notice that it is Plankton that is constantly using profanities in this and other threads. The non-civility comes about usually after he says something to offend someone else and they in turn defend themselves.

If people just stuck to commenting on the phones instead of each other ALL forums would be a much sweeter experiance, K850i is not even out yet so how ANYONE can reasonably comment on aspects of it's performance with any degree of authority is beyond me.
They are not in the same market sector anyway,N95 IS a known quantity, it does what it does quite well, and is slowly becoming decent value, K850i can only hope to better it on the camera front and thats about it really.

@mweb6161,
Darn SKIPPY. Spot on post. I think the v13 software will fully kit out the N95. yes the v12 introduced the missing key press thing, but this is not happening on all phones. Other than that, there have not been many real issues.

K850i, 3.6 Mbps HSDPA
N95, 1.8 Mbps HSDPA

wins cos I use my phone as my modem.

@Bhavv
So you are using your K850 now @3.8mbps are you? because i am using my N95 now. By the time the K850 is out the N95 will be old and the new N82 will be out to compete with it.
Does the K850 do VGA 30fps Video as a special camera phone? or all the other superior specs that the N95 has? thought not.

You lose because you can't read.
http://europe.nokia.com/A4323297
N95 Technical Data
Data Transfer*
WCDMA 2100 (HSDPA) with simultaneous voice and packet data (PS max speed UL/DL= 384/3.6MB, CS max speed 64kbps)
Dual Transfer Mode (DTM) support for simultaneous voice and packet data connection in GSM/EDGE networks. Simple class A, multi slot class 11, max speed DL/UL: 177.6/118.4 kbits/s
EGPRS class B, multi slot class 32, max speed DL/UL= 296 / 177.6 kbits/s
Another myth debunked.

@plankgatan
No problem and nice of you to make an apology, but you must realise the only reason some of us have to keep repeating things is because others keep on bringing up incorrect points that need to be corrected.
Maybe the question should be why do SE supporters feel the need to constantly defend any thing SE do and attack other devices to justify SE's position. I mean even when a SE's device is obviously void of some functionality there is always a rationale of why it is ether not needed or unnecessary never an admission that is it lacking not ever and that's just not realistic.
Yes this is Sony Ericsson based Forum which most if not all of us at one time where SE users and fans. The point of a Forum is discussion and an exchange of views and that involves real comments not everyone just praising SE irrespective of thier actions. if and when SE release truly stunning and well specked devices again i will be the first to praise them. I have already stated that i think the P1 and W960 are great looking devices even if not to every ones taste. But for me the simple fact they don't have HSDPA and are still using the Nexperia chip mean they fall short of what i want/need. Before anyone jumps down my throat that is not saying they are bad or rubbish just not what i want, but for those that are happy with the spec and it suits them fine. But if they came with the things i wanted it would be mean myself or others that need these things could also consider it and it would sell more units. As i can't see any one that already likes the device not liking it if it had better specs as that really would be strange.

this thread doesnt give sense at all

k850 isnt released yet, but it is your own decision whether you want the k850 or the n95. N95 has it all, and if you want a computer with good camera etc. rather than a better camera and musicplayer and a more fun phone with "new" features, go for the n95
