dw i fixed it by using opera if any one else is having problems go to this site
http://www.dualrange.com/pdf/ericssonP800.pdf even though it is a guide for a tdk bt dongle it should still work as it worked on mine and i have a d-link bt dongle

For using the pc's net connection to surf in p800, all you need is a fake gprs connection, and Opera browser (one that comes with the phone). Connect the phone to pc, (USB/IR/BT) any conection will do.
Start opera ant start to surf, when the p800 asks for a connection, select the dummy gprs connection, and voila!!!!

hi i am a new member. don't really know if this query belongs to this thread, but any way, here goes:
have been using my lovely p800 for 7 months now. my service provider gives me free gprs. i would like to connect my p800 to my laptop and surf on the laptop using my p800's account through any possible means.
pls help if any of u know how to do this.
