@vegetaleb
Battery is nothing special, just average 2-3 days with med usage, or daily for very heavy wifi, multi task usage.
@silmer
The keypad is one of its strength. Tacticle, well spaced, very nice to text with, def better than N95

What exactly does autofocus do? And since this phone is similar to w705 would that mean it wont have autofocus either?

Auto focus allows you to take close up shots like this with out bluring:

yup. more photos at

G705 led is weak. No macro no autofocus. It is not a dedicated imaging device. Single led of G705 vs autofocus macro k750 double led.
The last one
http://www.panoramio.com/photo/16810264 is k750 with xenon attachment

Review of G705 by mobile-review is up
http://www.mobile-review.com/review/sonyericsson-g705-en.shtml
Conlusion:
Retailing for 300 Euro, the G705 aims at a pretty narrow niche – while it sports a likable and offbeat design, WiFi connectivity and GPS, its quirky positioning is what holds it back. It’s not the best choice for heavy web users, although it’s a decent solution for calls without too many extra feats. Those who are after more feature-rich offerings, will be content with the Nokia E66, but this phone is in a league of its own, even though it’s not much more expensive. Furthermore, with the arrival of the W705, the Sony Ericsson G705 won’t stand a chance. It’s not the best buy out there, nor does it deserve any sort of special credit.

Is there any information about Sony Ericsson G705 having a new feature called SMS/MMS conversation Style ?
Its included in the W705 but not G705, i guess its just a firmware upgrade like what they did with C905
SMS conversation style looks like "Chatting" style when i SMS a friend of mine and its better than just having all SMS in the Inbox!!
