GAH

on my 4th c905 today, replaced so kindly by Orange

The slider is so wobbly every time I push the browser buttons on the front it wobbles up and down very annoyingly. I cannot believe it.
Its a 08w44, the last one I had was perfect but it had the earpiece fault.

This is getting beyond anything I can cope with.

Sounds like your having similar problems to me, looks like the latest firmware has borked the GPS up

Liking everything else about the phone and latest update though (apart from the slightly wobbly slider)

5th time lucky now for me.

Orange have been very VERY good about this. I now have a 08w44 black c905 that is completely solid, none of the phones I had before we close to this solid, the slider actually feels right, the camera slider is also tight in a nice way, all the buttons press right.
Everything works (touches wood), the only thing I can see going wrong is the dreaded earpiece, but I hope not as this is the best handset I've ever had.

I knew they made a few good ones!

My C905 has developed a button fault and the top button has become stiff on the D pad.

The camera keeps flicking on in texts and it's very slow loading.

I guess it's yet more faults? all this and my earpiece has gone twice.

Time to say goodbye to the C905 any good alternatives?

I feel very honoured to have a fully working one..
This actually feels the way I'd expect a new piece of equipment to feel.
IT TOOK 5 PHONES!

I feel really bad for all the people who have shoddy handsets and who are finding it too hard to replace/repair them at SE's cost.

At least no reports of BROD or similar stuff have surfaced on Esato. But yeah, it's a pity that it took like 5 handsets for you mate.

When I got my first c905 Orange were only offering 1 months 24hr replacement guaranty. Now that has been extended to 6 months.. I wonder if this is with this particular model only.
SE must be getting a lot of shit from networks worldwide right about now.
