Boysie, sorted it, what happened was earlier i made a new image folder for clock elf which was called HTC Clock, that was in clock folder, my ini path just before instead of ending up going to clock 1, after i changed it back, did it wrong and it ended up being clock 1 clock, thats why it was rebooting! sorry im a Fxxxxxt, ill tell u what tho, earlier clock elf was in a straight line, hour and min towards bottom middle of standby screen, now its sorted, its gone diagonal again all over place, and i havent changed any setting of the cordinates in the bcfg file.Will have to have a serious play to get this clock looking swell. u pissed off

It might be that the default settings of the elf have been applied during all these reboots. Dont know mate, should be ok now you have sorted it.
One thing ive learned is that u gotta get the paths right for some of these elfs cos they complain like ur missus if u dont get it right!

hello ESATOs.
im new to elf. but i like to learn bout them. and spent the whole night googling in wikipedia and found out that theyre great and amazing.
my questons are:
1. where to start?
2. i have the elf library and everything. how do i install and upload them to my w660i
3. does elf brick the phone if sometghing gone wrong?
4. what to do when the phone bricked?
5. i need them in details and specifically for my SE w660i (r8bb001).

1. The beginning!
2. Create a folder "ZBin" in "Other" in phone memory and also in memory stick and then a folder "Config" in "ZBin" in phone memory and another folder "Daemons" in "ZBin"in memory stick.
Put the "DYN_CONST.bin" file in "Config" folder in ZBin in phone memory.
Put all elfs in the "ZBin" folder phone memory or memory stick .
Put those elfs in "Daemons" folder" (in memory stick) which you want to start with your phone (they'll start when your phone turns on).
Put all .ini files that you get with some elfs in "phonememory/other/ini" (you have to create the folder if it doesn't exist).
Put all .cfg files that you get with some elfs in "Config".
Install patches (Elfloader and Library) with FAR & JDFlasher in the normal way.
3. Elves won't "brick" your phone but they sometimes make it reboot!

Boysie alrite bud, got a little problem her. Fine with elfs now more or less, but today on my way home had a play with config of minigps elf, made it appear on main screen for a bit, thought thats a bit crap, next thing my phone keeps rebooting. It loads up and as soon as its ready to go it reboots again. I started minigps from zbin so its not in daemons or owt.Have to start normal mode, any idea why this would happen and any idea how to fix these enemy elves!!!!!!!!!!....RGA:cryl:

update.. copy and pasted the original bcfg and config files from your pack, overwrote my ones in phone and its gone ok.Just another one, if i want to start an elf at start up, once its working fine, do i just copy elf and place it in auto folder for D.A?

Hi RGA,
Don't just copy elf into daemons/auto otherwise DaemonsAdmin won't know its there. Use DaemonsAdmin to do that by selecting "Add" in the options
