From all the iphones, this is the 1st iphone that makes me say wow... I want this damn phone!!!

The law was struck down by the European Court of Justice and there won't be any appeals by the Belgium government because the Belgium government agreed with the ECJ.
There isn't a change in the Belgium laws on the books yet --- because the Belgium coalition government has been a total mess (there were real fears that the country might split into 2 separate countries along linguistic lines). Most likely thing that will happen is that the belgium carrier with the exclusive contract will sell the new iphone simlocked with a contract with a subsidized price and the government isn't going to bother with them.

Now, being new to this I need some advice, first, is it noticeably big in the pocket? Is O2's customer service any good? I have been with Orange for years with no trouble what so ever so will be a bit nervous about changing.
What's the battery like on the current model if you just use it as a normal phone making a couple of calls?
What are the games on it like and are they free?
Another requirement of mine is a half decent camera, it is annoying there is no flash, but is the new camera any good at all? And speaking of Tom Tom, do you have to use the docking cradle to use it, or will the built in GPS work?
Really can't believe I want one, but so far I've wanted an HTC Magic, SE Satio, Palm Pre. There is a LOT of choice this year but the iPhone offers me what I want, I'm just concerned about its size a bit and how good the camera will be, also how I can adjust to the touch screen.
My current phone is the good ol G900 and I find its camera disappointing so would have high hopes.

Keen to see an original iphone 3G S video...mind you I wasn't too dissapointed with the video offering on the jailbroken 3G... just a bit put off by the £20 purchase price for the full version, so if they've done anything close to that, or better in the 3G S I'll be happy for my limited video usage

I plan to head to an O2 store for their opening at 09:02 (so they told me), or if I'm up early I might venture to the Apple Store at 08:00.
if the queues are silly though, I'll go back later, but I don't really see that it will be like that this time (?)

I can't see the excitement and the queuing being quite so marked as last time, which is no reflection on the 3G S, it's just that so many people are locked into contract with the 3G with no affordable means of upgrading - and less real hardware incentive than last time too. The 3G S, and more particularly the OS 3 software, is gunning for all the people that have found reasons not to buy an iPhone yet, and by definition they're more of a shy, retiring, and dwindling bunch...
