Thanks a lot for this pic mockups @sealover94. Size is becoming a major thinking factor these days, devices seem to be getting bigger and bigger. I'm proper hyped about the X10 (am I really saying this about a ? lol) My last was a K800

Now when I see them both side by side, the X2 definitely looks more appealing and it has real keyboard too.
Shame it uses WinMo 6.5 though

@Sealover,

Bravo! Excellent comparison. I think I'll save that picture. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Does the Xperia X2 look that exquisite in person as it does in that photo?! [EDIT: Any chance showing off the 3.5mm headset jack of the X2 please? I'm curious if SE will make a micro-USB accessory for a stereo; like they have for Pop-Port devices?]

I think the X2 will be overlooked because of the hardware in competitive devices. What many do not see is the rumored improved keyboard, arc-slider which is perfect for long business emails, or RDP into desktop machines/SSH terminal sessions/server administration. A friend of mine got the HTC TouchPro2 (or Tilt3 as I like to refer it as), and his MAIN reason for it was (besides windows and regedits) utilizing the screen real-estate for remote connections. Although i have the iPhone 3GS and it can do this, using the keyboard just kills the Xperience.

I'm sure WinMo6.5 will be replaced by SE on the Xperia X2 as nothing is known outside of the development product cycle pipe. If not then don't worry XDA-Developers will figure something out in porting WinMo7 to X2.

I still love the X2 - initially with spy pics I loathed it; but its price is just WAY too much. I know its the service, but still.

I've noticed through the original full screen leak of Rachel two listings on the bottom of the home screen:
TimeScape & MediaScape.
TimeScape I'm guestimating as something to do with Calendar, Notes, Alarm, and Tasks?
MediaScape, well media.

I'm curious if there is something specifically more or just a new "brand-naming" that is giving to their Android 2.0 use.

Thanks for those comparisons pics sealover94...

I must say that I really cant wait for the official annoucement on this... It really does look like it could be a winner... and my next phone... And with the massive Android push from so many manufacturers we hopefully should see a real rival to the iPhone in terms of software/applications...

See link below, they seem to think that it wont be announced until CES in January...

Has there been any word on what type on screen this will have, i.e. resistive or capacitive?

I hope so...

But because of that round edges iPhone looks like a soap IMO.
Rachael seems far more elegant.
