ahm mr author, bat po ganun ayaw po mgwork ng om2.06 ko using myproxy, security error dw po..network acces not permitted. Check security settings! this msg is what i always get..what must be the problem otor??

Goood mooowning guyz! though the weather seems agile & isn't fine, so am i! I feel like shooting myself in the head for up to now i haven't made any of my om's work yet..waaah..the nerve of this om, it's getting on my wick & am fed up already! Who is to be blamed? proxy like myproxy s n0t working wd 2.06 f u're using s40 f0ne..using this kind of proxy,u'll always get security err0r.. Better t0 use om4.2,jz use pr0v file..it's the best opti0n 2 make...i'm also tired out w/ my om2.06 dat's y i switched 2 om4.2..

you can use om2.06 without experiencing asecurity error,
how to do it,?
make a working proxy connection through your phone,,, see page 1 for references, for s40, you need a prov file,, just request to litemint,, and he will going to make it just for you,
under the network setting of operamini 2.06
uncheck shadow connect
uncheck additional server/port (no need for this because the connection will goin' to connect directly to your personalized access point setting or to your prov file setting).
and the last... copy the opera mini server in page 1....
uncheck reset of server....
your done...

i think that's a fact girl! Maybe this new om server is really not compatible wit my s40v5 phone, likewise wit om4.2, always failed to connect to the inet..i just wonder y i managed to make 2.06 worked before using proxy courtesy of chriz thread but now its the other way around..the worst ,nevermore shall i be able to use that prov in my phone, in as much as, in the first place, my phone is no bluetooth capable so there's no way to transfer that prov file to my phone! hapless!huhu
