Yes, the waiting is killing me too! The 3GS 16gb was not worth £440 for me, but this one is because they have finally improved the core things like new screen, better battery, faster processor, thinner new look and faster internet connection.
AT&T are going to be selling the iphone4 no commitment for $600 which is around £413. Same price as 3gs at £440 sounds very likely although £400 would be better

If you look at history. Apple used to improve their products and stick to the old price.

lol shame i'd like to own one of these newer iPhones,
it's taken apple along time to launch something that may compete
with something on the market today
previous iPhones just seem old now
my sister owns 2x Apple 3GS she didn't know about this new one coming out

one can hope but wouldnt hold my breath
