when I formated external sd card, there created a file called devicefrindlyname.txt which include only "GT-i9000" text. Does it necessary to keep it?

few minutes ago, I formated external sd card again for my musics collection and connected it with the mass storage mode. That file didn't appear this time. May be kies or others apps creat it. so it is not harmful to delete that file.
@pao9195: in Bangladesh, only 16GB model available and it takes US $677.

Some people say it has 8gb of memory, but in some retail packages comes with an additional 8gb memory card which they then sell as having 16gb of memory.

Thats internal storage. Galaxy S comes in 2 versions 8 and 16 Gb internal storage.
