Interesting information from a friend in japan.X5 will be the last 4g flagship xpera (mid-range continue to be 4g) and all highend models will be 5G, at least in japanese market.

I wouldn't be surprised if they make the flagships 5g only even for the global market. I don't know if they can afford to make 2 versions. Maybe they'll keep the lineup small in quantity so they can focus on delivering a better experience.
Not all alphas are apsc, isn't a73 ff? If rx is what you want, why not import it?
The 10 series didn't have water resistance, they could have been a little more daring in the design department.

Yes A7 are small for hands, you should buy A7IV onwards because they thickened the grip more for better grip.

I can afford a6000 kit or even A7 mark I, but old stuff are not worth.
If I decide to sell in the future or need repair.
I've lost stuff because no repair shop had the components to fix.
On internet many stuff are generic. Like cellphone screens.
Another problem is this....
There is on amazon USA a combo a6000 ( graphite) + 16-50 + 55-210 + 128GB card + accessories for $548.
It is a killer offer.
But it also tells me it is $548 + $606 ( shipping / import fees) ..
that sucks ...
For example , with fees a a7 iii would be $4000 in the end.

What the @x%# is that??? SONY???
Were did you get it🤷♂️
Its slim, water resistant, battery efficient and it gets my work done via RDP, Chrome Cast and so on.. so pls pls SONY

I'd love a new ultra-slim compact tablet, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. My Z3TC got sat on by someone and the battery is failing, so I'm on the look out for another 'new' one, so at least it would have a good battery. New ones are hard to find now.
I can't see an X5 Compact Tablet being released, I'd be REALLY surprised

Rog has bigger bottom bezel. The top is nearly identical to the X1's.
That begs the question, is sony ripping people off with cheaper components?
A new tablet from Sony is extremely unlikely. You're better off with an iPad unless they introduce a foldable /rollable that'll double as a mini tablet.

People complained X series had low volume.
Except Apple, Samsung and maybe Microsoft, all other tablet are not doing well.
I'd never buy ipad if Sony had newer tablets.
I would do two tablets:
- Xperia 10 Tablet : 10" 16:9 FHD, SD630, 4 + 64 + sd card, 8MP selfie with
1080@60, 6000mAh, usb C, 18W, plastic body
- Xperia 5 Tablet : 10" 16:9 QHD , SD855, 6 + 256 + sd card, 13MP selfie with 4K30, 8800mAh, usb c , 18W, metal body, front speakers, ip68
I love this speaker grills of ROG. Much nicer.
Z5 style was much better.
