That is one way of looking at it, but I don't think that there has ever been a definitive definition of what constitutes a 'veteran'. As you know there has been a bit of discussion on this issue lately, indeed there has been a bit of discussion on it for a while now, but different members seem to have different opinions on the subject. I usually consider the length of time someone has been a member of Esato to be an indication of 'veteran' status, although I suppose post count does have some bearing too; someone who has been a member for an age, but not participated much isn't really a veteran I suppose.

Hi! 'nother newb here...Just thought I'd poke my head in and say hi!
I've had my T616 for almost a year now, and have had no problems with it (battery life is awesome, few dropped calls, it's only locked up on me once, and is otherwise fast, responsive, and functional). Oddly enough, the fw revision is r1b027. Stumbled across the wonderful Esato forums looking for upgrade info, but I'm now not so convinced I want to upgrade...seems lots of people have battery and stability issues with their phones..?
Also, if any of you camphone jockeys get bored, check out
http://www.optera.net/atari/ -- you can submit stuff straight from the phone, anywhere in the world!
Cheers!
-Matt.

Another newbie here from Australia..
Back in 1997 my first ever mobile was an Ericcson GA 628 lol so you could say that Ericsoon 'broke me in'. Then I strayed & went to Nokia for a few years, Siemens for a few years, back to Nokia, back to Siemens M55 & while looking to get Siemens M65 I saw the Sony Ericsson K700i at a store & fell for her. I knew I had to have her.
So in the end I'm back where I started with an (Sony) Ericsson. It's been a while since I had the GA628 & I didn't recognise not one standard feature from that phone to the k700. But I love this phone & I know this phone will be with me for at least a year or more. Running R2L001 & no bugs.
Very nice & informative forum, I only wish the salespeople at S.E. & all the Telco companies read forums like this to know whats going on. I've learnt more about S.E. phones from this forum more than a S.E. tech support person could ever tell me.
