ive just replace the old comic.ttf files with my new ones (that are actually brookyln kid) but i restared and nothing happened it was the default font. So i did the original comics again and they worked. Do i have to modify the .ini or something?

@marceta
hey... but did u
a) edit the font's 'internal name' with an app about which i told a bit upper;
b) rename the files of fonts to comic.ttf & comicbd.ttf;
if the answer is NO than it is obvios that nothing works. follow the steps i told before in a short brief-kind-manual and everything will be ok.
and u CAN find that skinsrv.exe at ur smartphone, look deeper.
@ascatox
try run magic themes (the last version) after opening skinsrv.exe with sman and then select and apply any skin, exit mt - that should work otherways it is time to cantact their support =)

I have an easier solution for all of these problems, since you're a master and you know how to do it why don't you make us the comic files of whatever fonts we request. That will be much easier and more helpful. We can share them with everyone by uploading them to a group or something. What do u think. To be honest with you i can't figure out how to do these files. Let's see what you think.

@pimp800 & marceta
i've got a better idea. i can create a manual with pics in a ms word 2003 *.doc file where i'll explain all the details of creating a suitable font, okay? maybe today or tomorrow u'll get it if u like? wha du u think?
edit: marceta, my english sometimes just suck and i can't find a proper word and btw right at this moment i don't have an ability to open this program (font creator) to tell u what fields in the font's properties u should change exactly sorry, that's why i use some terms i think are convertible terms in the situation.

quick question: Format --> naming; which field do I change to 'comic'?
EDIT: You actually change it to Comic Sans MS

@marceta
you should open a comic.ttf and comicbd.ttf font files and see what fields are different in the font that u are optimising and in the comic and comicbd (comic bold) font.
in other words, compare the fields in yourfont.fft & comic.ttf first, than edit the fields and save a new font under name comic.ttf in some dir, after compare and edit comicbd.ttf & yourfontbd.ttf and save a 'renamed' font under name comicbd.ttf into some dir.
end.

Tutorial for changing the fonts ( translated from p800.it)
install the Arabicsms.sis (u can download it from here (http://www.p800.it/ArabicSMS.SIS) that will create two directories in your P800: In c:/system/fonts will be resident the file freetype necessary to visualize the fonts and a new font called tahomabd.ttf ; the second one is d:/system/fonts , which instead contains the modified file linnea.gdr. After the installation of the sis file, you can restart the phone and the fonts will be already changed! In order to add another new font like the prettiest Dungeon (http://www.p800.it/dungeon.ttf) or the Chicago font (http://www.p800.it/CHICAGO.TTF), you must:
- turn off the phone;
- remove memory
- Restart the phone, copy the font that interests you to the phone, and with Qfilemanager (or Sman ) copy it in the directory c:/system/fonts , then remove the other ttf fonts,)in this case the tahomabd.ttf) ;
- Restart the phone with the memory stick and Voila
In case you wanted to remove the fonts :
- turn off the phone;
- remove the memory stick;
- Restart it, and only AFTER u arrive @ the application list, insert the memory stick and remove the file d:/system/fonts/linnea.gdr .
