I cant wait until November to carry on this debate
I will have to wait until my birthday (10th) to carry on this debate?
IMHO this debate will never finish until Bush is not president. Even after that if there is a new president, this debate will carry on.
If countries that are affected by America(in bad and good ways)could vote, which they should be able to because they are affected by this, then Bush would go. Americans dont see him like other people do.

JoJo mate you still dont get it do you?...So minimal makes it ok does it.for thousands of innocents being killed is nothing for you.Let me give you this..If any of those thousand was your mother father sister or brother how would you feel about it then?Those people killed were someones mother father sister and brother.There is no justification for killing.Saddam was cold blooded murderer as bad as bush im not denying that.But you cannot justify those actions..If your saying it was justifyable to remove saddam in that manner then im sorry bt your wrong..don't u think in the 21st century there would be an easier way to remove a dictator.

i don't really have time to get into a discussion right now (i'm about to go out) but i would suggest that a reasonable portion of the iraqi population disagrees with you axxxr. iraqis needed some form of outiside intervention to remove saddam because it wasn't just about removing a dictator but dismantling the system of government he had put in place to protect himself and his successor. it was readily apparant that the methods used previously were ineffecive (i.e. sanctions and so on) especially in light of the UN "aid for oil" debacle. any other method for removing saddam would only have removed the individual, rather than the apparatus which kept him there, and allowded an equally bad successor to take his place.
the civilian casualties are certainly a bad thing, but the coatlition troops aren't exactly going out of their way to slaughter the innocent. actually a majority of the civilian casualties are the result of activity by insurgent groups in iraq, many of which have come from outside the country to have their dig at the US. iraq is rapidly becoming a battlefield for everyone else's problems and agendas, which in turn inhibits the rebuilding process. civilian casualties are an unfortunate and ugly part of war, but you can't lay the blame for them solely at the feet of one man.
afghanistan may have been left in a shambles after the removal of the taliban, but now they have the beginnings of a democratic system of government, freedom of speech and freedom of the press, internet access, and a fledgling film industry (i recommend you see the movie "osama" - which while a bit revisionist does illustrate the issues that women had to deal with under the taliban). at least now iraqis will have the same opportunities to express themselves and their opinions. the system of government we have in the west, which allows its citizens the freedom to criticize and question its actions, is what hopefully the iraqis will now be able to develop for themselves.
remember, it's only sixteen days to iraqi self-rule.

Cool down man, I would advice you taking a bit time and think before calling people names. In my opinion those people who lack command over the language tend to use swear words and shout (in capital letters). I can’t see why you felt I am racist I can’t see anything in the previous post of mine which was racist. If you had taken the time to read my previous post I was trying to prove a few of your statements wrong and that too in a professional way by making rational arguments and by providing actual facts. May be when people feel they are proved wrong they might loose there cool and get angry. And above all for your information I never called you any names as you did, and for that matter if you check my 500 odd posts in ESATO I never used ANY swear words in this forum at any one, because I don’t believe in using those words and never felt the need to use it too. Well then that comes down to CULTURE and EDUCATION.
Now if you had time to look at the first link you posted you could see in that web page at least at three places they say the Muslim scholars modified the Indian inventions, and also all the dates given in that page are around 1000 AD, so your own link proves that Muslims didn’t invent Mathematics or Medicine and that’s all I said in my previous post which you found offensive. I for one never mentioned in that post that Muslims didn’t contribute anything to Maths or Medicine but challenged your argument that both those sciences were invented by Muslims, which is wrong because Islam is such a new religion founded only around 600 AD.
Again, I don’t mind what you think about me and if you don’t want to have a rational debate with me, that is your prerogative but I must say you should try to provide corroborative evience when making such highly offensive allegations .

You are now at the right age (GCSE) to learn to use languages with out using so much swear words in it. I would advice you learn to do that. No one gives you respect depending on the number of swear words you use in a single line.
