Hi, I'm Kishore from INDIA.... Don't worry you are not the only man with this problem. I too faced the same situation. I was wondering why it's happening. When i hold the On/off switch it starts booting and when i release it in slowly goes off !!! i went to SE Dealer, and he saw and said no remedy.. i came back to home, tried lots of thing, and in trying so i did master reset... and do you know it is working now... but there is one problem still batery drains out fast.. i don't know which software was making this situation but one thing is sure.. you are not alone with this so called unique situation rather problem

@switchbitch:
That is a problem Opera has to fix. I believe I know what Opera did, but this is something only they know and can fix.
@ilia/kishoremathrani:
Looks like you both have a bad power switch and your device needs servicing.
@Zacay:
To you question, please RTFM... to explain takes quite a bit of effort... nice font BTW, can you share that with us?

Yes I usually search the forum, but this is a hard search, and the search engine here is really bad..

sadly i've got absolutely properly working button - that's a fact. still, the problem was caused by sman 1.03. maybe that all is about firmware? i've got r2d on the phone and R2A16 organiser... wel, seems i should et back to 1.02c...

hey, i never said sman created this problem, all i said is i faced the problem and after master reset it's all right. How the on/off switch can start working properly after master reset.... well, more chances are it's due to some software conflict rather than a mechanical problem.
But Sman is still my favourite application, i have installed it again and using it. It's THE MUST application for Px00.

@all:
After exchanging e-mail with Symbianwave, we have concluded that the compatibility between Magic Profiles (MP) and SMan is due to the way MP access the file server on a P800 and has nothing to do with SMan.
We have responded to Symbianwave about our findings but they have now chosen to keep quiet. This means that if you have MP and SMan installed on you P800, please do not use the "Fix applist" function as it will still break, but there is nothing we can do to fix this problem except maybe gray out the "Fix applist" option if we detect MP installed but that wouldn't be a nice thing to do and I can only hope that MP's developers fix the problem.
That is our position on this issue for the moment unless Symbianwave comes back to us with additional info.

Any thoughts on enabling bluetooth on/off through the network info, as well as program execution? So that bluetooth switches on, and bemused runs when i come home, while it switches off when i leave the house. And having remotep800 run when i come to work, would also be a nice thing.
