The only downside for me & anyone who already has one is that the longer its delayed the longer we have to wait for the games too
Although it does allow longer time to boast at already having the console

Sony May Miss Target for PSP Europe Launch
TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese electronics maker Sony Corp. could miss its end-March target for the European launch of its new handheld game machine PlayStation Portable (PSP), a company source told Reuters on Friday.
"There's a possibility that the launch could be delayed," the source said, adding that an announcement about the specific date would be made within the next several weeks

anyway, I'm now waiting on my PSP from our man in Japan having decided I really would like to check this out. Actually my kids want it but having read all the stuff here I think I will be giving it a go first
I just love Sony stuff and though I am not much of a game player, the other aspects of the PSP interest me.
I guess eventually I'll have to let the kids have a go!
