Sure like that, even u use 2.5 driver, the wood furniture absorb light with wide wavelength, so this cause much noise because it is dark.
i didnt touch any about noise, in camdriver didnt have any that setting for reduce noise, the phone firmware were determine for it, you can try with 2.5 driver, it also worse, but because 2.5 jpeg compression much lower (90%), so it give less noise ( blur picture).
If this give worse noise, i think the other will much worse, because my sharpness alrdy set lower to 02 and jpeg compression 92%.
Anyway, we should consider the 90% default jpeg compression.

For distance more than 1m, you can choose infinity focus mode, because at dark place, hard to focus.
I think we can set back the default jpeg compression 90% and try and see the result for the noise problem. But i think i just can help little, because the picture as you take, the chair and the table, this kind of thing will give much noise, i also got try many before.

Who cares about noise? Just pick a longer shutter speed and reduce the ISO? Is the code for chaning the shutter speed already working? Because, quite frankly that is THE way to reduce noise.
Until we can get it working, use NeatImage, you can reduce most of the noise with that if not all of the noise with ISO's

Noise Ninja? Where can i get this tool?
@Genus: Geat work, i've told this before, but
I recognize, that your driver have really more noise as gprsman's driver.
I compared your driver with gprsmans driver and found out, that he activate the noise filter from night portraid mode for the normal-mode and the results indoor pics are great with no noise. You have to try it and fix it in your driver!
But your driver, genus take tbetter flash pics.
So i for myself, took gprsmans driver with fix contrast from 1 to O and take genus flash seittng into gprsmans driver and the result is great. Good outdoor and good indoor, without noise and now good flash pics.
Thank you genus and gprsman, for your work.
