do u happen to remember the name of the shop?? is it on the same floor as ericserve??? i've a fren dying to get one....doesn't matter if it's waterset or not.....thanx in advance man....
RM400 is cheap oledi....i saw hbh15 (used) being offered on buysell.com.my for RM400....as for the warranty, it doesn't really matter coz there's only limited moving parts on the hbh-30 (unlike a mobile phone which is real complicated)...i'd definitely chance it and go for a waterset...just my 2 cents worth......
ohh...and by the way....good morning folks!!!

shithappens: dun remember the shop, but it is a very small shop with a very narrow entrance, with very limited no. of phones for display. It is on the same floor with Ericserve, in fact it is just directly opposite Ericserve. it's a corner shop. I think u can get RM350 if bargain coz I asked Jeffrey and he says they sell at RM350

@veon18
Thanks for the headsup bout the HBH - 30. However, if want to flash the firmware on the headset, how much will Ericserve charge, or will they do it at all? Am thinking whether I should get it in Singapore, at least got Sporean warranty, so can flash firmware and stuff there. Here, no warranty at all, pretty scary.
BTW, do you know where they get the waterset headsets? I mean for so cheap? Stolen from factory or second hand? Parallel import?

Tots,
not sure though how they got it, but definitely not 2nd hand, there's a high possibility that those are from singapore. Quite many of the SE watersets handphones here hav 'IDA approved' printed together with the imei sticker at the back. As for the HBH-30, i am not sure, but i assume they are much similar to handphones. But if u find that those are actually stolen directly from the factory, don't buy it coz there's a high chance that the respective headset has not undergone any quality check and hence performance not assured. It goes the same for handphones, that's why i only buy watersets approved by IDA. Have used 9 units of IDA approved T68 and T68i for the past 10 months, no problems encountered yet.
About the cost for flashing, try calling 03-79573922 Ericserve, not sure how much they charge but should be around the same price for flashing hp firmware (around RM25)

Whoa 9 units of T68i? You handphone shop tauke ar??? Hehee..

ANyway, gave JEffrey a call, and they dont even have the HBH-30 firmware in Ericserve. So, upgrading the firmware is a non-issue as for now. Anyway, how is the headset so far for those of you that have it? Is the reception clear? DOes is eat up the battery life? Uncomfortable?
Thanks for the replies.

Oh, no la, not having 9 units all at once, it's like a buy and sell thing, bought cheap, some1 offered higher price, sell then buy again, no money to buy so many hps at once
