OK thanks to Tranced I have all the software to begin the hacking process.....but the UIQBlogs instructions (step by step) is a little hard to understand.Or maybe Im just blonde and very afraid to say the least.Keep one eye on the UIQ Hack thread in the UIQ Device section. Its hotting up.A bit hard to understand because this is all just theory for me at the moment but Im sure once I dig in to the practical it will all start making sense.

From uiqblog.
THE STORM IS COMING......P5
This is what USEB and UIQblog´s Michell Bak posted:
People! The storm is coming, and we’ve just beat Sony Ericsson at announcing it. We’re of course talking about the mysterious, super high-end smart phone, often referred to as ‘Paris’.
We’ve gotten our hands on the official product video of Paris, and even though we won’t be able to show you the video at this point in time (wait two weeks!), we can show you a few screen shots from the video with the most crucial parts blurred out a bit.
Paris will feature a full keyboard in known P1-style - below the screen, that is! Why? Well, Paris is a slider! It looks drop-dead-gorgeous and is set to slay, yes SLAY, other competitors on the market. It runs UIQ 3.3, and well, have a look at the picture. That pretty much says it all.
Paris will be announced before the end of May, and will be available in shops as early September! We haven’t got a price tag on this baby as of yet, but we’ll definitely be trying to sniff it up!

Let's hope 'Paris' pulls out all the stops; no juicy bits omitted here n' there.
My mom's beloved Nokia 6131 was nicked in one of the PostNet offices in EL this morning. She only put it down on the counter to pay for something and it disappeared so fast that she didn't even see who took it.
Got friends from EL coming over next month, so I'll ask them to take a new phone back for her.
The 6131 is scarce nowadays. She loves the large keypad n' screen and she's so familiar with Nokia's interface that I'll get her another product from The Dark Side.
Not sure what to get her yet; maybe a 6300 (keypad buttons aren't as big, though...) 3110 Classic (big buttons but smaller screen...) or a 7373, 6500 Slide or something similar. Or look around for another new 6131 perhaps.

Back on Opera 4, personally I find it quite stable except for very few bugs like RSS feeds occasionally disappearing. But despite this its hardly crashed while I've used it.
@wanqa: How does one keep track of all those Nokia phone models? Seriously I've stopped noticing anything from Nokia except the E and N- series.
Didn't manage to watch the cricket but its been ridiculous reading online reports...from a featherbed to a wicket seaming all over...with Indian batsmen seemingly intimidated into playing shots by Steyn and Ntini.

I hope that the bliksem who nabbed your mom's phone ends up as Mugabe's bumboy, Wanqa. Looks like Bob's not having a really good year either. Shame
These scheduled power outages really lead to some interesting moments, i must say... Earlier this evening, about 10min after the power she go bye-bye, just as it was growing dark, i was en route to my in-laws. At the traffic lights i did the same thing everybody else was doing, i.e. stop, treat the intersection as a 4way stop, then proceed with caution. Suddenly my Spider Sense started tingling... something was afoot... gingerly i crept into the intersection... only to see a bus come hurtling at the speed of light straight at me!
Okay, it wasn't exactly coming straight AT me, it shot past the front bumper with a metre to spare, probably going at 60km/h. It was priceless to see the driver's face when he realized that the lights were out! The dude slammed on the brakes, and came to a screeching rubber-shredding smoking halt, jumped out of the bus and waved his arms hither and thither, trying to apologize for his myopia. I pulled up behind him, got out and told him it was ok, no harm intended, but it was a good 5minutes before he stopped shaking and had calmed down sufficiently to proceed with his journey. Close encounters of the vehicular kind, lol
