I'm guessing there has because this was one of the things microsoft support got me to check before I sent my daughters xbox 360 back

btw, we now received a replacement unit from them rather than them fixing ours, and it all seems good so far

yay i have a 360 again!!!!!! not on live yet tho, is there any way of getting live by conecting the ethernet to my pc as i do not want to have to buy the adapter.

Thats how I have done it at home. It can be a bit fiddly. Google Internet connection sharing xbox live and you should get a few howto's.
