Ok, one more question! With most other non-iPod players, when you wanted to create playlists on the computer you would have to copy songs multiple times so that they appeared to be in playlists when in reality you just ended up copying songs multiple times to different folders which gave the appearance of playlists and lots of wasted space!.
Is there a way to copy all the songs you want to your phone then create a playlist on the PC which the Walkman software can use? I had a quick look at that Media Manager PRO but I am reluctant to install it if it does not offer playlist creation functions.
I know once you sync all the songs to the phone you can create playlists in the Walkman player but its a bit cumbersome compared to how the iTunes-iPod relationship works.

lol thanks for the reply!
i have just wiped the phone clean and updated it (evn tho it was already up to date) so if its not fixed now i will have to send it off
Just don;t add your GDesk application and see how you get on for a few days. I bet it's fine but resumes it's crashy behaviour when you add it back in.

...i've had a problem with my phone since i got it: approx every 1-2 days my phone randomly crashs. im not doing anything on it and it dosnt matter what i have open at the time. the phone just goes completly dead, everything freezes and no button-even power button -works. the only way to fix it is to remove the battery. this is getting REALY anoying especialy when it freezes during the night and i miss my alarm!
has anyone else had any experiances like this? ...
Nice to know that I'm not alone, but sorry for you. I've had mine for exactly one month. My phone have turned off about 10 times. Once during a phone call, but often just in my pocket. Only way to start again is to remove the battery. I wonder if the battery it self could be the problem? Anyway, I left my phone to service today. Hope they find the problem. You can see my previous posts in the thread Bugs W960.

Got my w960i recently.
In most part, I love it.
There are some bugs that annoy me (posted in bugs thread).
And also its just a bit slow compared to normal phones.
Also just to let you guys know, the BST-40 will fit into the W960i.
If you leave the form, the cover will still fit on but it left a gap of about 0.5mm on one side of the phone.
But I took the form off (and stuck it on the BST-33) and it fitted a lot better.
Cover fits perfectly (you cant tell any difference between BST-33 and BST-40) but it is a lot tighter to put on and off.
Can tell how much difference it makes it terms of actual battery life, as I only got it yesterday. But I keep you guys posted.

Oh, another that annoys me is that fact that you cant view a list of you message folders.
Whats the point of having folders, when they are so hard to get to.
The arrows are just annoying to use, and to have to use the menu to switch folder is just painful.
Oh, and I still have to use my old phone (S700i) as my alarm, as the alarm on this crashed on me twice (on the first two days of owning it). Was late to work cos of this

Nothing to report with my phone... yet!
I discovered something by complete chance today. Totally useless but here goes lol.
If you want to mark a text message as unread, display your inbox, select a text message and press *. This also works if you want to unmark a message.
